Students, Faculty and Staff Invited to Join UC's Habitat for Humanity Project
September 15, 2003
Construction for UC's Habitat for Humanity project will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.
The University of Cincinnati has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1919. In September 2018, the University successfully underwent its reaffirmation of accreditation, a rigorous process that occurs every ten years.
The reaccreditation process includes writing an Assurance Argument, demonstrating Federal Compliance, and hosting a site visit by a team of reviewers. These reviewers are faculty and staff from other universities with similar missions. As part of the Assurance Review, the institution submitted an Assurance Argument, along with supporting evidence, explaining how it complies with each Criterion and Core Component. The peer review team used the Assurance System to conduct its thorough review of the materials.
The successful reaccreditation in 2018 confirms the University of Cincinnati’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, institutional improvement, and compliance with HLC standards.
