Select university IT services will be unavailable briefly July 24

Select IT services and systems at the University of Cincinnati will be unavailable for about an hour starting at 11 p.m., Thursday, July 24, during a planned maintenance window. Many commonly used cloud-hosted services will be available. 


What’s happening

Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) will enhance the university’s business continuity during a planned IT maintenance window that will affect access to select IT systems between 11 p.m. and midnight that day. 

Most IT services, including commonly used cloud-hosted services, will not be affected and will be available throughout the one-hour maintenance window.

Affected services and systems

Select IT systems will not be available. Students, faculty and staff will not have access to the following IT services and online systems:

  • Admin for the Student Portal
  • Backend Reports (OAR)
  • CAHS Exam Proctors
  • Clermont Aviation Flight System
  • College of Engineering Invoice Payments
  • CoM Clinical COVID-19 Testing
  • DTS GetIT
  • Effort and Reporting Annual Review for CoM
  • Faculty Academic Leave
  • Faculty Grants administration and reports
  • HEI Reports
  • IACUC and Animal Operations
  • Manage Affiliate Identities
  • Managing grants for the Taft Research Center
  • Metro Card Registration
  • Mobile interface for hourly staff time clock
  • Professional Assessment & Learning (PAL)
  • Pulse Nursing Data
