DAAPFASH25: See Class of 2025 fashion creations May 2
Over 150 student fashion designs take to the runway
The fashion design collections of University of Cincinnati fashion design students from the Class of 2025 will be showcased at the 72nd DAAP live fashion show, starting at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, May 2, at MegaCorp Pavilion, an indoor/outdoor concert venue adjacent to Newport on the Levy in Northern Kentucky.
The event — titled DAAPFASH25: The Show — will feature over 150 creations designed by 25 graduating students. The garments will be shown by professional models walking the runway to music from a live guest DJ.

This year many of the collections tell personal stories that are a nod to a designer’s heritage, hometown, personal trauma or a background in activities or the arts.
Graduating senior Jodie Pierce’s contemporary high-fashion, ready-to-wear collection will be the first to hit the runway. The collection includes elements that pay homage to her five years on the UC track team, cleverly intertwining reproductions of her original race bibs and running routes into the fabric. “It’s such an exciting and celebratory time as we get to finally present these collections that we’ve worked so hard on,” says Pierce.
There are multiple level ticket options, but the event is close to a sellout. Every ticket includes a pre-show and afterparty music set by DJ BoyWife.
