Get Started in 3 Easy Steps
- Log In: Use your UC credentials at uc.joinhandshake.com.
- Build Your Profile: Add your major, skills, resume, and experiences for maximum visibility.
- Start Exploring: Search for jobs, co-ops, or events and apply directly.

Note: Incoming graduate students must pay their enrollment deposit and receive confirmation to access Handshake.
If you don’t have a Handshake account:
- Visit the UC Handshake Registration Page.
- Complete the form and click “Create Account.”
- Allow 1–2 business days for processing.
Once approved:
- Go to the UC Handshake Login Page.
- Select “Sign in with your email address.”
- Enter your email, choose “Log in using your email and password,” and sign in.

Prioritize Your Handshake Profile
The first and most critical action you should take on Handshake is completing your profile. Students with a fully updated profile are 50% more likely to be contacted by an employer than those who leave theirs incomplete.
