Help the arts thrive with UC's ArtsWave campaign
Faculty and staff can participate in the University of Cincinnati's ArtsWave campaign through March 29
With the help of tens of thousands of donors, ArtsWave fuels Cincinnati’s growth as a recognized leader, continuous innovator and the nation’s largest community campaign for the arts.
According to organizers, ArtsWave makes strategic investments to leverage the power of the arts to build a vibrant economy and a more connected community across Greater Cincinnati.
Goals of the organization include the following:
- Put Cincinnati on the Map: Talented employees and businesses are drawn to our region through our innovative arts.
- Deepen Roots in the Region: The arts are critical for retaining a talented workforce, especially Young Professionals.
- Bridge Cultural Divides: The arts uniquely celebrate the diversity in our community.
- Enliven Neighborhoods: Community arts centers, galleries and public art build pride-of-place for residents
- Fuel Creativity & Learning: The arts can transform learning of core curriculum and essential 21st century skills sought by employers.
All UC faculty and staff should have received an email from ArtsWave with details on how to contribute. The email contains your personal login ID and guides you to the online pledge form. Can’t find your email? No worries, weekly reminders will be emailed through March 29.
UC's annual campaign to benefit ArtsWave began Feb. 25 and runs through March 29. If you have questions about e-pledge or did not receive an email, please contact Arlene Foster in Marketing + Communications at 513-556-5228.
