UC shuttle service begins summer routes
UC Transportation Services runs the university shuttle service on a summer schedule May 6-August 20
Effective May 6, 2019, UC Transportation shuttle service begins its normal summer operations schedule. It matches the summer schedule of past years.
This schedule modifies several routes and temporarily suspends service to others, due to summer changes in ridership demands. UC Transportation Services continuously monitors ridership, routes and operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
Summer changes include suspension of the following routes through August 20:
- Greater Cincinnati route through Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati riverfront, Newport, etc.
- East route, through streets east of Jefferson Avenue
- Southwest route through streets south of McMillan and along Probasco
- UCBA route, between the Uptown Campus and UC-Blue Ash Campus
Through August 20, there will be alternate route service on the following:
- Mainstreet/Eden Garage/North route, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. (alternates routes denoted by M on tracker)
- Uptown Campus/Victory Parkway Campus route, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. (alternates routes denoted by CCM on tracker)
Summer service for VPC will be available by taking the CCM Shuttle running every other loop to VPC, May 6-August 20, 2019.
Fall Semester 2019
The Victory Parkway Campus Route and Greater Cincinnati nighttime ridership have been on a steady decline over the last several years, while other routes have continued to increase in demand.
To meet these changing needs and to continue to be effective and efficient, the route to VPC will include 12 stops featuring locations on both East and West Uptown campuses, effective August 21, 2019, with hours of operations Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
The Greater Cincinnati nighttime route will begin fall semester service on August 23, 2019, but will only run on Friday and Saturday nights.
