UC migraine expert offers advice
The Weather Channel turned to Vincent Martin, MD, professor in the UC Department of Internal Medicine, to explain changes in the weather and how it impacts migraine and headache. Migraine affects more than 39 million Americans, according to the Migraine Research Foundation. Martin, director the Headache and Facial Pain Center at the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute, is a UC Health physician who specializes in migraine. The segment featured on the Weather Channel first aired in 2016, but the topic’s timely interest as fall approaches garnered a repeat for television viewers recently.
