College of Medicine hosts inaugural scholarship luncheon
UC Health Diversity Scholarship recipient Sarah Appeadu with UC Health president and CEO Richard Lofgren.
The College of Medicine hosted its inaugural College of Medicine Scholarship Luncheon on December 6, 2019 inspired by the generosity of our donors and benefactors who graciously give each year to support the students who are becoming the medical leaders of tomorrow.
Without the philanthropic spirit of our donors, the College of Medicine couldn’t recruit and accept top-of-the-line future medical professionals. So our hope is that the event continues to provide the opportunity to recognize their amazing generosity while enabling our benefactors to meet those who are directly benefiting from their investment.
Looking ahead, we recognize the challenges inherent in meeting student needs while also attracting the best, brightest and most diverse students. We’re excited to meet this challenge head-on, knowing we do so with our vast family of alumni and friends who support student scholarships.
