Siemens Simcenter conference to take place in Detroit
Siemens PLM software is organizing the Simcenter Conference-America at the Crown Plaza in Detroit.
The main agenda will be to explore the world of industrial simulation, testing and design. The platform will allow interaction and learning from experts to increase productivity and to share ideas with experts.
From the University of Cincinnati, professor Jay Kim and visiting professor Gil Jun Lee, both Ph.D., will attend the conference and interact with industrial experts. They will also share the UC Siemens Simulation Technology Center work and how to integrate academia and industrial interests by including all aspects of product life cycle management.
Additionally, they will discuss how UC's College of Engineering and Applied Science uses Siemens PLM software in its coursework. This new way of teaching along with a strong co-op program at UC will train students for the industry.
