Cincinnati Music Hall Blood Drive celebrates Hoxworth donors with free, live performances and gifts
Feb. 24 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, is partnering with local arts organizations to host one of the largest community blood drives Feb. 24 at Cincinnati’s Music Hall. Do you love music? Do you love saving lives? Now you can do both in an experience that is truly magical, combining the power of music with the impact of saving lives!
Thanks to the Cincinnati Arts Association’s "Arts in Healing" Initiative, you’ll enjoy FREE, live performances every hour while you donate. The Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Ballet, Friends of Music Hall, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, May Festival and Cincinnati Arts Association are coming together once again to save lives.
The Cincinnati Arts Association is proud to partner with Hoxworth and our fellow Music Hall resident companies as co-hosts of this important blood drive.
Steve Loftin President, Cincinnati Arts Association
Dan Erdman is a member of the Arts in Healing program for the Cincinnati Arts Association. He says the combination of the arts and saving lives is inspiring.
“As a team member of the Arts in Healing program for the Cincinnati Arts Association, I believe that music can impact listeners in a powerful way, providing a mood to help them connect more directly with their heart of hearts.” Erdman continues, “I have enjoyed offering music to Hoxworth blood drive donors at Music Hall as they literally give of that heart lifestream to benefit others in need. As an artist interested in healing, I have also been inspired to give blood myself after I finish my performance, grateful for the opportunity to help with healing in a directly physical way as well. We are all in this together!”

- A BONUS $10 eGift card for whole blood donation and $20 eGift card for double red cell or platelet donation
