The University of Cincinnati welcomed seven new faculty members to the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the start of the 2025-2026 academic year.

This month she was honored with a Crane Excellence in Early Childhood Award from The Ohio State University. Bates is also the recipient of the 2025 Distinguished Nurse Researcher Award from Mount St. Joseph University.
