Alumni, students: Nominate your best profs for UC awards

Seeking nominations for the Barbour and Cohen Awards

Alumni and students of UC – do you know a favorite teacher who was a great mentor or a great teacher who made an impact on you? Only students and alumni can make nominations for the University of Cincinnati’s Mrs. A.B. “Dolly” Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching and the George Barbour Award for Good Faculty-Student Relations. Nominations are open now through 5 p.m., October 4, 2019.

Students and alumni may go to the All-UniversityFaculty Awards Celebration website, click the “Awards and Nominations” button on the upper left, then select “George Barbour Award got Good Faculty-Student Relations” or “Mrs. A.B. ‘Dolly’ Cohen Award for Excellence in Teacher” for criteria and instructions with a link to the online nomination form.  Please note that faculty nominees must be at least in their seventh year of full-time teaching at UC to be eligible. Nominations can only be made through the online system. Once nominations are made, eligible nominees will be notified of the second step in the nomination process, which involves preparation of an electronic dossier for the Barbour-Cohen Award Selection Committee to consider when choosing the final winners.
