Researchers have new hope for HIV vaccine

UC infectious disease expert is featured guest on WVXU

Carl Fichtenbaum, MD, vice chair for clinical research in internal medicine in the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and renowned HIV expert, recently appeared on WVXU radio's Cincinnati Edition program to talk about the new hope of developing an HIV vaccine.

"HIV should be just a part of the same, general discussions we have about having a healthy lifetime. We don't do that enough. We need to do it more," Fichtenbaum said.
